How Beneficial Is Soaking Hay?

As a short follow-up to the previous post on laminitis, we wanted to bring attention to a study performed by the UK's The Laminitis Consortium.

Many people believe that soaking hay removes water-soluble carbohydrates, making the hay safe to feed to laminitis-prone horses. This may not be the case.
